Men's Club

The Men’s Club at Castro Valley UMC was originally chartered by the National Organization of United Methodist Men in 1948. It has been providing friendship, fellowship, and spiritual support to the men of the church continuously since then.


We believe that God continues to call us into ministry with the church and the community. We provide service and support to the congregation and support our brothers in Christ where needed, through our prayers and service.


Our small but dedicated group of guys participate in a number of ministries and church-related activities such as the monthly men's breakfast, hanging of the greens, and occasional service projects.


Membership is open to men of all ages. No dues are collected and there is no requirement to be a member of the church.

Tuesday Friends

Seniors are welcome to join Tuesday Friends where older adults can enjoy fellowship, refreshments, and participate in activities. This group meets every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Fireside Room. Some of the meetings will include a speaker to navigate services for seniors or to learn new skills.

Faith Circle

Members of Faith Circle have many opportunities for fellowship, study, and service including:

  • Monthly Meeting—The first Wednesday of every month, September to June.
  • General Meeting—Held every other month at the church, at these luncheon meetings we discuss business and have a program focusing on an aspect of the UMW missions.
  • School of Missions and District and Conference meetings.

Membership is open to women of all ages. No dues are collected and there is no requirement to be a member of the church.
