Worship and Music
Our worship service is filled with familiar liturgy, passionate sharing in prayer, and reading God’s Word. We enjoy relevant preaching that provides strength for each week and growth in God’s grace. Worship is at 10:00 am every Sunday. We enjoy vibrant congregational singing filled with familiar liturgy, passionate sharing in prayer, and reading God’s word.
Bible Study and Small Groups
Bible Study for adults meets in four- to six-week sessions.
Programs for Children
We offer nursery care for children newborn to three years old. Our Sunday School has classes for preschoolers, elementary, and middle school children. High school students join us in worship.
Programs for Adults
In addition to Bible Study and Small Groups, Castro Valley UMC has an active Men’s Club and United Women in Faith group. Service opportunities for adults include participation in our Food2Go program and FESCO.
Location
Castro Valley UMC is located at 19806 Wisteria Street, right off Castro Valley Boulevard with easy access to I-580. There is ample parking in our lot, with reserved spaces for first-time visitors.
