Castro Valley United Methodist Church offers excellent worship, fellowship, bible study, service opportunities, and programs and activities for children, youth, and adults. We invite you to worship, grow, and serve with us!
We are part of the United Methodist Church whose mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Worship and Music
Our worship service is filled with familiar liturgy, passionate sharing in prayer, and reading God’s Word. We enjoy relevant preaching that provides strength for each week and growth in God’s grace. Worship is Sundays at 9:00 on Zoom and at 10:00 am in the Santuary. We enjoy vibrant congregational singing filled with familiar liturgy, passionate sharing in prayer, and reading God’s word.
Bible Study and Small Groups
Bible Study for adults meets in four- to six-week sessions.
Programs for Children
We offer nursery care for children newborn to three years old. Our Sunday School has classes for preschool and elementary children. Middle school and high school students join us in worship.
Programs for Adults
Castro Valley UMC offers several adult programs — Men's Club, Faith Circle, and Tuesday Friends — as well as service opportunities through Food2Go, FESCO, and Caring Hands.
Location
Castro Valley UMC is located at 19806 Wisteria Street, right off Castro Valley Boulevard with easy access to I-580. There is ample parking in our lot, with reserved spaces for first-time visitors.
